Hey pals, here’s some new photos! I’m so bad at updating the blog part of my portfolio. So, just know you can always go to my facebook page to check out the latest sessions and such. I rarely leave anything off facebook, unless a client requests privacy.
I met Karmon through a mutual friend a couple years ago, and she was one of my first 25 sessions ever :) Aw, so precious ;) Now, two years later, I’ve finally met her family! And I must say, they are some of the funniest group I’ve ever met. You can really feel the love and mutual sense of humors–despite the fact that they spoke Chinese the whole time and I had no idea what they were talking about, haha :)
The family wanted to go for something less “posey” and more casual. A lot of our shots were meant to feel more editorial than formal; I also used a lot of Beloved-style conversational invitations to get them talking and interacting more naturally.
Karmon paid a lot of attention to detail. She chose very complementary outfits without being “matchy matchy” all over. All their clothing has a nice, classy, but casual feel. And even their shoes are nice :)
We took these photos at Memory Grove about an hour before sunset, and tried to steer clear of the popular monuments to go for a more personalized look.
