My family is growing :) These were taken 1 week before my niece was born, at the park right next to their home. We chatted and talked about adding a second child to their unit of 3 and how that was going to change things. We used a few Beloved invitations, and basically got what we were looking for within 20 minutes.
Besides all that, though, my sister-in-law is a woman to be amazed by in so many ways. She is, easily, the most patient and empathetic mother I’ve ever known. I even learn from her “bad” days when she gets a little cranky–and I seriously mean A LITTLE. In Robyn I see someone who was never afraid to want to be a mom; and I see someone who found the man who would let her be the kind of mom she wanted to be, and didn’t give up till she got it. She was patient then and I can see her being patient now while her little family plants their seeds for their life together in the future. She doesn’t sweat the small stuff–and honestly, that’s a really awesome quality to have. She is modest in her mannerisms but not afraid to be herself, and is generally kind to everyone she comes in contact with. She savours the greater things in life like jelly shoes, smurfs, and wHipping cream, and I love her.
